Yuki comes from the last major capture operation in Es Cubells in 2017. The approximately 7-8 year old dog has spent half her life in the Perrera.

DUO was able to take her over in May 2022. You couldn't touch her at all back then and she only walked crouched down or, ideally, didn't move at all. Her motto was not to attract attention , but she too has made tremendous progress. Yuki has a sensitive, cautious character, which we have been able to strengthen more and more in recent months. She is happy with other dogs, likes to go for walks, is good on a leash, is attentive in the countryside and can now relax more when she is close to people. However, if she had to choose between the couch and a walk, she would prefer to stay lying on the couch. However, if she goes for a walk, you get the feeling that she really likes it. Sometimes you have to push her a bit so that she recognizes the colorful life more.

She would only really blossom if she wasn't one of many dogs and more attention was paid to her. She travels well in the car, so you can go on trips with her, although she is not a city lover. We are looking for a home with people who have experience with fearful dogs and who want to continue to work with her with time and patience. An existing dog that she can orient herself on would be an advantage, but is not a must. Like almost all Podencos, she has a hunting instinct and cannot run without a leash, but this is not particularly pronounced so far. She tends to stand and watch the rabbit run away attentively. Yuki is of course vaccinated, chipped and neutered.
