Der 4 Jahre alte Labrador-Mix AMADEUS kam aus der Perrera Natura Parc Mallorca und war sehr aufgewühlt anfangs, ist mittlerweile deutlich ausgeglichener und freut sich über jegliche Zuwendung der Menschen.

Durch regelmäßige Spaziergänge und Ausflüge durch Voluntäre hat der kräftige, schöne Rüde gelernt, entspannter an der Leine zu laufen. Die ersten 10 Minuten gleichen noch einer Übungseinheit im Fitnessstudio aber für einen jungen Knaben, der sich freut aus seinem Gehege zu kommen, ist das nicht unnormal daher suchen wir aktive Menschen, die ihn angemessen auslasten möchten und an ihrem Leben teilhaben lassen.

Amadeus ist ansonsten ein sehr freundlicher Rüde, der keine Probleme mit anderen Hunden hat. Zudem ist er ein guter Autofahrer geworden und ein prima Spielkamerad, der sich aber auch mal alleine beschäftigen kann. Der schöne Bursche ist kastriert, geimpft und gechipt und im Besitz des EU-Ausweises und wartet auf seine Menschen. Die Worte unseres Voluntärs Sebastian: „Ein toller Hund, der alles für seine Familie tun würde. Wenn man einmal sein Vertrauen und seine Freundschaft gewonnen hat, ist man der Mittelpunkt seines Lebens.“

AMADEUS is a funny boy of approx 3 years who was born in Palma de Mallorca and abandoned at the local shelter because his family decided to move back to their country, leaving him locked and condemned. Amadeus , together with his brother Falco, experienced how cruel humans can be and waited 12 long months into a cage before being able to walk and get out of it.

When he first arrived to DUO he was so desperate to breath and to walk that it was nearly impossible to have a normal walk with him who was just pulling against the leash, showing how horrible he must have felt back in Palma. Bit by bit with love, dedication, and consistency. His heart relaxed and he is now a very happy dog who is predicting his routine, who is generally sociable and very  tolerant with other dogs , even barking or bothering ones. Amadeus loves to play with his ball and with his toys. He always grabs one to show us when we approach his space. He is a very good soul, lovely and funny  and not jealous in general. He accepts not to be the first lady all the time as Falco often is taking the entire scene. Amadeus is just ok with everything.  He can share his life with other dogs, he can drive very well in the car and he absolutely loves to swim and to join also the urban /citylife. A perfect match for somebody who loves to integrate and involve the dog into daily routines. Amadeus at the moment is sharing his space with Falco and he is lucky to have adventures every week out of our rescue center thanks to the help of dedicated volunteers. Nevertheless, he is desperate to have a family and to be with his humans forever. He calls and calls us at the fence just to have a minute together. We wish a wonderful family for this unlucky boy.
